Due to COVID-19 and the guidance that gatherings be postponed UBOS has decided to cancel UBOS meetings until the Governor's order has been lifted.

Wastewater Certification Review Class
Umpqua Basin Operators Section and Umpqua Community College are partnering to help you prepare for the Levels I-IV Wastewater Operator Certification Exams.  Math for Operators is also available as an add on or stand alone option. These courses cover Wastewater Exam Strategies, Sanitary Sewer Volumes, Flow-rates and Velocities and much more. The Math for Operators covers the following topics:  Math assessment, Averages, Percent's used in the Wastewater Industry, Calculating Areas & Volumes and much more. Exam fee is in addition to the class fee.

The first PNCWA Continuing Education Series lunch and learn is scheduled for Wednesday February 17th from 1:00 – 2:00 PST. UGSI Polymer Feed will be giving a presentation on optimizing polymer mixing and activation. Those who attend the full hour will earn 0.1 CEUs. Individuals can register for the presentation here:

This will be a virtual presentation held over Zoom. Attendance is free for PNCWA members and $25 for non-members. PNCWA will be hosting twice monthly presentations over the next few months so I encourage non-PNCWA members to join if they plan to attend more than two presentations.

Ten 1-hour training sessions at NO COST with both CEUs and PDHs available. 
 
This current Pandemic has adversely affected all of us.  One of the effects has been that many  have missed out on quality Wastewater Related Training.  To address this issue ten  FREE one-hour (1 hr) training sessions are being made available as depicted in the snapshots below.  The session descriptions can be viewed in-full by going online at   https://www.consultjrh.com/learning-center .

Due to Covid-19, the ORWARN Board has determined that we need to cancel our October 2020 conference. We will, however, be back in Newport, OR next October for a 2021 ORWARN Conference. Please save October 20- 22, 2021 on your calendars.
